Care and Maintenance
Do Not Wash for 48 Hours!
- Stains can be removed with 99% isopropyl alcohol. Take care to keep these chemicals off the vehicle’s paint.
- Avoid using a pressure washer or high-pressure water source near the edges of the film, it can cause the film to lift and/or become damaged.
- Detailing clay can be used to remove contaminants that are on the film.
- While you can wax the film, be sure the product you are using doesn’t contain Naphtha or Kerosene in concentrations over 5%, and avoid waxes that contain dyes.
- Remove insect or other stains as soon as possible with automotive detailing products designed for use on paint protective film.
- The clear coat is the self-healing layer and is approximately 13 microns thick. If that layer is penetrated, the film will not heal.
- Inspect film after using automatic car washes as overly abrasive brushes may lift or damage film.
